Things We Should Talk About

Or: Postmodern Society Issues

This post has been a long time coming. Let me begin with that.

As a person attempting to gain a wider perspective, I obviously began with my own, new experiences, relevant to my question, and then thought on experiences exposed in snippets of conversation from family and friends, and then searched the internet with more questions.

Still interested?

All right, then. My question – began with thoughts on whether or not it was a clever idea to collectively not teach or perhaps better worded: decide, to collectively not teach, people about religion. As in the ‘main five’ religions/faiths. Now, don’t get me wrong – there is nothing wrong with not being of a religion. In fact I should say the main ‘seven’ faiths(atheism and agnosticism included); because my learnt definition of a religion is that which affects a person’s morals, belief-system/main belief, what they think about the world and their place in it. That is their faith; their religion; their body(School?)-of-thought. In fact, being honest- I am Hindu, but I am also a believer of Science, of rationality, of psychology (not Scientology though)…

Back on-point: was it smart? Why would a society choose to do this? What was gained? What was lost? To me, as a person, I felt that this was dangerous and disagreed for a number of reasons. To deny a person knowledge means they can’t make informed decisions, yes? To have knowledge is not a bad thing. It is a good thing- an example being that people by nature/habit, seem to be afraid of things we know nothing/rumours about, right? Fear of the unknown, for example, was something played upon a lot in the Gothic genre, and made it quite the hit – even now, because some of those societal fears of the unknown, still are.

Another thing that happens when people are scared/unknowing, is that they feel like they can’t empathise, or sympathise; looking at it that way, tell me how that wouldn’t alienate (which has been observed in children, in adults, in workplaces, in society – historically, there was a progression something like this in England, for example: gender -women could not work, they were objects in the household, the weaker sex, seen and not heard-, age -children and the old-, race – one by one as people came over- and then sexual orientation – gay, lesbian, bisexual, and then gender identity – and none of them have completely gone away). So, can you honestly consider the merits and demerits of education -this time religious/faith-based and therefore somewhat cultural ignorance, not causing alienation or a rise in anxiety and tensions in a multi-cultural society when there are issues from a specific label elsewhere in the world?

As opposed to societies that have taught and explained these things, that can then squabble and debate and talk about what they think without everyone getting up-in-arms about it. Yes, sometimes when talking you have to be considerate and careful not to be crass, or harsh – unless the latter you mean- but that’s because you can be harmful otherwise. We can still talk about problems elsewhere and not be defensive, or break into labels-of-origin. I do not look at a problem in the news, turn to my flat mates for example and think ‘oh, that one is Made in China’ or ‘India’ or ‘Dubai’ and think I can not ask – can not bring up this issue, these questions because I will be faced with nationalism/fascism/self-righteous anger/beliefs. No, I honestly do not have these worries. Because we are a step away from these scenarios; this is our home, our people are here – and yes, the people over there are ours too, in a sense, but why be angry someone is curious, seeking out knowledge, to learn, to self-educate? This is encouraged.

Do you see why I find such an inverse of culture so horrendous? It’s potential for self harm – in the face of a world that encourages increasingly, education, how can ignorance help? Think: if this was about sex education, would you encourage that not knowing about sex would act as a deterrent for sex? Or sexual diseases? No. So why is the same reasoning applied in America (And wherever else – parts of the UK, seem to think it’s not important to teach about other religions). How can you understand other people, or feel comfortable in other countries if you have no basis for how to treat them respectfully and vice versa? In my perception, all this is achieving in (my opinion again- correct me if you know better, suggest for other ideas) attempting to fight religious extremism, is making people more susceptible to it – or vulnerable to scaremongering/hate/prejudice.

To give you an example, I had a friend whom honestly had no idea about any religion other than Christianity -she wanted to know what the others were like, because she was aware how unaware, how lacking, she was- and how unable to cope with or behave with other people, and she felt awkward. So I explained as best I could – starting with basic information on how to generally not insult anyone, and we eventually worked our way up to other aspects of other religions, because she was so fascinated. But that did not change her beliefs; it helped her understand others. How can understanding be bad?

There are so many more arguments I can make for why it makes sense to educate – or offer education on these subjects- and on how uneasy the idea makes me; I can make allusions to communism, and selective-teaching, and how this could be an attempt on socially engineering society, but I think this would go on too long as a post.

I had more thoughts and questions on this topic, but I feel this is a good place to stop. If you have any questions, please feel free to comment/share!

To anyone: About Immigration

To anyone scared/worried/confused/not confused/ who thinks they’ve got it all figured out,

Be brave- watch this:   ‘I’m an Immigrant’

From,

Nami

P.S: And, I’m probably going to upset a lot of people by saying this, but- get educated, alright? I have heard some of the dumbest reasons for being against anyone coloured -even second or third generation born here, or with an accent that’s foreign but white skin. AND (See here’s why I knew I’d offend) even if you are pro-immigration or not racist- research a little on the figures for this stuff anyway, or travel to another area/city for the weekend or next holiday: get some perspective, okay?

And I’m not saying all racists are white; there are plenty of other races who’re racist over here too, even to their own race. So, this is to everyone: racist, or not.

I just don’t want the next anti/pro-immigration person I speak/shout to to well, have absolutely no reasoning(and by this, I mean proof/evidence/realistic or LOGICAL train of thought) for what they think and genuinely think they’re right, because its such a shame and waste and scary like mad people in charge oh no or out of control drunks and c’mon you’re not flipping STUPID, you want to be RIGHT/CORRECT right? So what harm does collecting some legit facts– of the whole/as much as, picture as you can do?

WHY NOT research it properly if you think you’re right, huh? Afraid to be proven wrong?? Do you want to be wrong? Do you know you’re wrong and are not admitting it

..No?

Then get educated. Seriously, though, if you’re scared- e.g. fear of the unknown, then knowledge is your best fighter against that, okay? 🙂 It’s OK to be scared; ask around AND arm yourself with knowledge.

It’s not however, okay to make serious/potentially serious opinions, which you then base your behaviour and potentially other people’s behaviour on, and their opinions.

You might not even directly do it, and you’re in public for example, and someone overhears you speaking to friends, and thinks ‘okay, if they can think that I can too’– AND IF IT’S RACIST..OR ANTI/PRO-IMMIGRANT…with no logical thoughts or points or no real attempt at seeing both sides (This is called investigating; that way you know if you’re right or not. Probably.) then that’s one more person not using their brain.

Think about that for a moment.

People going around not using their brains. Anyone remember being a 5 year old (aprox) child; or around a young child, and they act out and when you ask why, they shrug, sort of hum that ‘I don’t know tune’, and when prompted for why, just say they don’t know…? And sometimes, they actually have no reason? Yeah. But adults/voters/young people (AKA Adults) or teenagers. Oh my..

Also repost to spread the message if you want. I think it’s important to…

#GETEDUCATED

Plus, or besides, whatever: Politics and home-policies will happen with or without you, so if you want to INPUT, it makes sense to KNOW PROPERLY what it is that your saying is correct we want to make this country better no? Fix problems not make new ones. UK ESPECIALLY PEOPLE BUT THIS APPLIES LIKE…EVERYWHERE.

P.P.S: One more thing It doesn’t matter where you’re from: a city, a town, a village in the middle of a farm or a farm or the mountains- you are part of society and the greater whole, and you know what? You get a say. Just..make sure to try and make it count okay? Because it matters. I’m doing a post on research and questioning and analysing things as we speak, so no worries if you’re unsure or anything alright? YOU CAN ALSO PM ME. 😀 I won’t be cross (even if it’s to argue with me) for any questions and you can keep asking alrighthad a friend from a village who really really thought all Indians worked in corner shops. They don’t, and the kind of thinking he wasn’t used to doing was scary and so were the implications of that belief. See? Don’t worry, it’s not hard- and he’s not stupid, just insulated? Isolated from a big mix? That sort of thing.

Comments?

Thoughts? Questions?

PM me!

Yes, I got motivated to speak up from the video above. It’s true -atleast from all the research I’ve done. Again, there will be  a post on researching, basics on checking facts/advice, analysing and critical thinking. I’ve been taught and developed from that of course (I’ll point these parts out, no worries) to do this. Some people aren’t as lucky. Or didn’t do some of this/did do some of this anyway(I did for bits).

A poem from the future

Just listened to the intonation of the sounds of the words that fill this poem…imagining all it describes. It’s -I have not an accurate word for it, but it is good, amusing and serious at times, it rhymes and tells a good set of points.

In short I love it 🙂

Editor’s note: This poem kicks off a new “Question Worth Asking” series: “How weird will the future be?” First up: a piece from poet and TED Fellow Ben Burke.

[Dear Helen- So sorry. Didn’t have time to write that poem. But my future self sent me one yesterday. So we’re good. Crazy, right? It’s totally legit and actually from the future, so no need to double-check, you’re probably too busy anyway. Happy New Year!  – Ben Burke]

A Call On Advice, A Pre-Post(Rant)uh: on Authority Figures abusing Power (and students)

Hi guys!

This is a very very quick update so that I can start researching and then post that on here.

So today started a bit down, and then went brilliant- I am still bubbling with happiness deep (DEEP) down inside, but it’s all shielded off- because I’m cross. No, I am angry. But in a go get ’em, let’s FIX this sort of way.

Why?

The level of abuse- because it has accumulated and become this- in my brothers school, is disgusting. I can say that the teachers there? Save maybe one, are scum. Including the headmistress. The methodology of the staff, academics (or lack thereof) and attitudes and treatments is…despicable. Like, I think it has gotten to the point where everyone should be sacked.

Everyone. Sacked, fired, replaced- you name it. It’s not like there’s a lack of new educators in the field here in the UK or anything.

It is that bad. Maybe I should clarify a few things- this ‘school’ I speak of, is not a mainstream or private school, it is a specialist school. For Special Needs. Anyone who has children or family members knows how hard it can be to find a place that is supposed to accommodate the children and help them learnkey skills (that they as staff were taught at Uni or College) and techniques as a side to their education to eventually cope in the world and everyday life.

It is supposed to be safe. The staff are- I dont even know where to begin. It’s like (as I spoke to a friend -a mother of a child who goes/went there) the staff all went someplace and caught stupid. They are malicious, negligent, scheming, negative, abusive, miscommunicating-on-purpose, inappropriate, danger-provoking, blasphemous, prejudiced bags of scum. I am going to do my best to make a case to take them down (and no, we are not keeping my little brother in that school- but by God, those people are not going to get away with staying as they are- and I know there’s an option where all the children if their parents think it’s so bad, can just move away- but think: some parents dont know, some dont care, some are desperate and or poor -e.g. have children who are ‘low functioning’ or have low self-esteem: think conformity, giving in to authority figures -I will post some psychology stuff up on that, by the way it’s A2 material. So it would worse case of this, have all the informed parents with higher functioning kids, pulling out their children this time, the school abomination still standing, leaving the lower funct kids at the now incensed already borderline midground abusive staff AND the new batch of kids would still be coming in to find out for themselves. Or that kid who brings in a knife will actually manage to stab someone this time. ).

God, help these children. I think some detective work is in order- and a case file to be built.

So, my last post was about Law and whether I would have the will to do it? It looks like I’ve got a case to build. Wow. Before even going to university!

I am researching and ofsted will get some letters (but one point here- the school didnt inform parents ofsted was coming so that the ones with time -or who made time because it is so bad-

Worse comes to worse? I think I’ll go to the papers.

Sad thing is my exams start next month…so…it’s going to be tough.

So, any thoughts on where to start on this?

On Running Over People and Animals…and Dumping animals…and animal abuse

Hi

So, I think people who run over animals/people, and leave, should :

1. Have their car(s) taken away and sold,

2. Have their driving license revoked

3. Have that beautiful little asterisk * black-marking their records, next to their name… maybe a special colour-connotation should show what..?

and best case scenario, ALSO – 4. Jail time proper and get the people to GIVE BACK to the communities they are in somehow (not nearby; their own. Wearing those luminescent jackets too). Hey if a school can assign it’s sixth formers 150 hours for two years (and succeed and get more than that- 250, 400 hours) then these guys can tote the same.

…Because the problem is not getting better, and it has escalated to people now, too(proof in a later point made here, by the way). Do you know what current penalties are? Fines if the animal cruelty officers are lucky. And they take the animals away to maybe possibly help them (I am not over-exaggerating; their funds are on them and donations here. Examples being – have you watched RSPCA on the TV, ever? Note how they amputate limbs, all the time, because the bone is broken. No there isn’t a difference between ours and theirs.. But f I broke a bone, I’d wear a cast, right? Get pins maybe. They can’t do that so often, so they amputate…).

Ok. So Dumping animals is further proof that animal abuse charges- at least in the UK- are not enough. Because the number and blatancy is increasing.

Onto the main point: I think animal cruelty or abuse should be punished heavily.

Why?

Well. The thought that someone could mistreat something else, that is a) vulnerable and b) capable of emotions and suffering (because, yes, people, animals can feel- maybe not complex variants, but enough to cover the main stuff), and act completely ‘normal’ or  fine, is disgusting, and it highlights the fact that there is something seriously wrong with them.

They could be your neighbours. Your kid’s teacher, a friend. Anyone. That group of children running around, or that successful gal down the block. They associate with you and yours, is the point. And act fine.

By not giving them reason enough to NOT behave as such, we are enabling that sort of attitude, thinking and behaviour (and a small part of me just shuddered and muttered:’…and allow it to breed, oh gosh, ew…’ – anyone familiar with the nature vs. nurture argument? Both could happen. Just saying. Right here in this situation.). It means people are pushing boundaries doing crueler things: burning tied up puppies alive and watching, laughing (there’s a case where mid-range children did this), or throwing cats over high metal fences (the kind with the wiring on top, like in the army) and if they get caught, heck ‘yay’ for them. It’s funny.

I don’t know about you all, but I do not condone that kind of crap.

Then there’s the fact that a lot of serial killers start off with animals. They are ‘practise’, right? So…point it out, call it out to the right people, don’t turn a blind eye! If you’re wrong, you can appologise- and point out, hey, at least I care- and that it’s right to do something, and be wrong than not do something and be right. From a human standpoint, it’s dangerous not to report these scumbags. Oh, and about being wrong- it could be a case where the neglect was unintentional, or due to say some medicial reasons (and so they get help, or give them up…), too.

If none of that convinces you, think of it like this- it’s immoral. Do you want that kind of well, borderline evil around you? Even if you’re not home a lot, what if one of these guys is e.g. your boss, co-worker? Or the electrician or painter you let into your house? Another point: It probably costs a lot of money to the economy long-run when these people grow up/as grown ups cheat, steal and break things having no respect for law or property (and I mean that in both terms of meaning). That all loses money.

Hopefully I have outlined this viewpoint enough for people to re-think their own standpoint on animal cruelty, and it’s affects and effects on the urban world around us.

This is where I stand. Got any comments, questions? Ask away! Articles/Evidence to be added (on the desktop computer)!

Federalization of the internet and wordpress

Just read this and holy wow. That’s potentially Bad News, for the idea of the internet- finding information on things (like the news in your area or the world from different places in the world on one topic- I myself am in the UK)! I imagine the lack of reaction might just be a hush hush attitude and manner.

Re-blogging this(Hope it goes viral. How is this lack of knowing-what-we’re-voting-for helping?! Plausible deniability, maybe..)

Pete's Alaska

P.1On February 26th the FCC will rule on a 332 page bill submitted by the President that regulates the internet, wherein it states ???? Oh did I forget to mention that the contents are secret until after the vote by the FCC. This reminds me of what Nancy Pelosi said about oboma-care that we must pass the bill before we can see whats in the bill. I believe the internet has done a fair job of regulating itself so far so why does oboma want a new set of federal regulations and have those rules enforced by the FCC?

Today on the radio a member of the FCC’s voting board was on the air talking about how outside regulation would only mean increases in the price of internet access. He spoke in generalities because of the ‘gag order’ in place but did mention that these regulations would deal with allocation…

On Multi-Culture, (buying:) the Charlie Hebdo Response, Extremist Attacks, Japan and the Burka Ban?

Hi! It’s been awhile. [Edit: I’m hoping that if I post this here, it will encourage me to convey the developing argument I was not-unfortunately- able to transcribe quickly enough. Starting to think I should carry a tape recorder around, speak and then write it out here! 11/03/15]

Caught a snippet on the recent-most update and new extremist attack on BBC ONE News, before I was Google searching about this ‘Charlie Hebdo’ magazine.

My response to the post (or specifically, a comment or three in response to it):

Yes, I understand and respect where Japan’s coming from. They are being very mature.
But I think this has become something where buying the magazine itself is symbolic now as a response to the terrorist (No; I change that word, to give a name such power, such dignity, fear-inspiring or otherwise, is remiss of me) extremist attacks sparked by the magazine(but starting in France- perhaps from the Burka Ban?). Meaning that tensions in these countries were rising-and had been possibly for years-, and this magazine was the final straw (for the Muslim extremist side). They’re angry, and that’s fine- they can go critic this -I’m sure there are plenty with either the umph in position of job or name amongst work or friends and family, or then resourceful (…or young, let’s be honest) enough to use social media to ‘boo’ it or give it a ‘ 😦 ‘-or make a genuine argument on how they’re being attacked.
BUT.
The idea is that yes it’s disrespectful, and rude maybe, and totally making fun of a specified faith…but in these countries? EVERYONE is made fun of, at one point or another, and anyone has the right to do this at anytime: if the author had gone on all sorts of channels (TV, radio, magazine, speeches, ect) with all sorts of DIFFERENT projects making fun of ONE target (so, specifically making fun and spending all his alloted time/business doing this only), THEN it would be a problem. But it wasn’t. It was just the one, magazine.

——————– I’m going to continue this later (points: free will, freedom of speech- BBC ONE News confirmed ;), personal a tad also- extremist situs in france, threat in gmany, built up for America and UK: multitude of reasons, mostly NOT because they’re specifically being hateful to Muslims ergo are racist or/religion-ist, but just offended that this…this…irresponsibility, this irrationality(cases looked for to find where a culminated co-ordinated effort to say they don’t like it, on the internet here: if any), this righteous-indignant-prideful anger, which is hurting so many. I understand this. But what do they hope to accomplish? It makes it harder for muslims NOT with that attitude (Mosques holding sermons ‘to bring communities together’ and I can’t help but wonder and think : all the community or just Muslims? Because just muslims could withraw them from society whose response so far as we know is NOT aggressive-antagonistic, but cutting off could spark anger? Shouldn’t you be trying both…depending how this situ swings, JUST muslims may cause a problem…otherwise its difficult for them to see it as anything other than an attack and ignore and like the WHOLE SITUATION has the potential to spark imbittered fighting and antagonise the seams of that part of society. Which is not cool: I have a point to make, here, if these people can’t control themselves? Why shouldn’t these threatned countries throw anyone out. They’re being endangered and so tolerant. But if it becomes too dangerous, it doubles and redoubles the chances of someone in power deciding lets do this. They don’t have to keep people who’ve got those attitudes. For the rest, I’m sorry, grit your teeth and whispher to family/friends if you know some to tell them to stop attacks, otherwise you’ll probably have to put up with it more..atleast. Atleast this response is not an act of violence. If there’s a ripple-effect of racist acts and words, speak up, but I doubt it.).

Also there’s the political aspect: countries have their fingers in the pies of oil, saudi arabia (with their corrupt/mostly corrupt guys -name- who deem law wherever they go- where this whipping is happening which could be another reason for this response and anger FOR this guy), most countries WEST stopped buying their oil (because the only reason they’re so rich in this case is because of oil that WEST wanted; stop for years, and it will no longer be rich or powerful via boycott); america’s foothold usage of S-A to attack EastAsia *I say america and mean the gov and politicians; if I say american PEOPLE I mean them. otherwise no.

On The Political Climate (As of Late, specifically 10:20 thereabouts)

Good evening, all(journal). [NOTE: This is a rough post; it needed to be published, but..well. It’s a rant- my first one yet! Sorry about any roughness and or callous language: when I said it was a rant, I meant it. It’s simplistic and I would be ashamed if it weren’t so serious a topic. So if you are interested in a rant/rave about the following topics, especially if you feel a little frustrated and like you’re unable to do anything, then here it is!]

I originally had a different post in mind- and in ‘Drafts’, bless it- but for the utmost, sincerest, deepest and most unrelenting urge to vent. Have I had a bad day? No. This, is about the current climate- politically speaking. IT’S TERRIBLE (When is it not, I mean, really?). More so than usual!! Two..no…three main points of concern and well, indignation and righteous fury.

1. The Bloody Syrian/Us/Arab Alliance vs Islamic state(ISA? ISIS?) dispute that absolutely did not need imput from our government beyond stating our viewpoint on the situation- not to the point of sending out troops, thank you very much. Recalling the politicians to reconvene at Commons? Am I going to vote for you again, if ever..? A Government that, despite opposition SO STRONG that even amongst their OWN CONSTITUENCIES AND PARTIES, there was NOTABLE (when you weren’t really paying attention to it; says a LOT) OPPOSITION, continues to change a PROMISE THEY MADE that Swayed a number of the population into voting for them and that the Democoracy of which gave them power decided against, in their Own Self Interest? …In case it’s not clear. Not going to vote for you, Cameron- or the Conservatives!- for the rest of your lifetime, buddy. Yep, not happening. I won’t; my thusly informed friends, colleges, and well-informed class of 2010-11 won’t. Make no mistake: I will not forget this. Your incompetence is staggering! I am a historian by heart and soul, and by these things, see me now: I absolutely will not vote for you, thank you, sir! Except not.

2. The Ukraine Situation: Update! Poland scared (and what does the Western world think- that because we’re so focused on where the oil is  terrorist states are, that Russia will too? I’m worried: what if whilst we’re all focused over with this new war for the next couple years atleast, that that gives Russia enough freedom- lack of coverage, people, and then it’ll probably be lack of resources when we do realize what the heck is going on, then maybe a little bit of appeasment or posturing politically and maybe even, we’ll have some ground troops stationed there aswell, and then before you know it, World War Three- or the shutting-off-of-the-oil-taps-after-rearmament-of-Russia; S.O.O.T.A.R.R. for short). PUSH BARRIER, PEOPLE.

–I knew the UN should have its own army; or all the neutral countries have one big one, keep the Super Powers in line as mediators for the peace, dang it.

3. AS IF THIS WAS NOT ENOUGH REASON TO BE FEARFUL AND FRUSTRATED, GUESS WHAT? UKIP. IT ROSE. WHAT DID I TELL YOU? GAHHHHHHH..SALKFDHAKDFHASDASD,SJADA,. A threat to conservatives; and AND I HEARD PRAYTELL OF ANOTHER MAIN REASON FACTORING INTO PEOPLE’S DECISIONS TO SUPPORT THEM WITH THEIR FAVOUR; the OTHER political parties (and Government) are not doing enough, are so similar overall/seeming that they are indistinguishable or not doing nearly enough for all the crap they’re putting us through, politically socially financially -it’s all the same, and so: People WANT CHANGE. SO…LIKE NAZI-HITLER, PEOPLE, THEYRE GOING TO THE EXTREMES: NATIONALISM. OMG. NO. WHY. I KNOW WHY. DARNNIT (The government) FOR NOT ENOUGH BLOODY GOOD CHANGE, COMMON SENSE, INFORMED OPINIONS AND HONESTY IN THE PROCESS and TOO MUCH BLOODY EXPENSE; MONEY, TIME, WASTAGE.

–This links into an idea-turned-lecture/HYPOTHESIS(read: prediction, and problem solving!) I’ve subjected/held/reasoned/pitched to friends and collegues, THAT I SO TOLD THEM ABOUT. OMG. I should join a think tank. Which one though?

Another Note:

Would it be a good idea to post on an explanatory post on the Political Spectrum? Nothing complex, just..something a bit simple. MAYHAPS, YOU SHOULD LOOK BELOW!

Also, The Push Barrier/Boundary Envisioned (below, first lot):

searched up maps for all of you :)! –>’The neutral between western and eastern world’

western, neutral & eastern world. push barrier boundary to be drawn and UKRAINE, POLAND and RUSSIA

Note where all the countries we are focusing on are: western, neutral & eastern world. push barrier boundary to be drawn and UKRAINE, POLAND and RUSSIA. Then find Saudi Arabia.

A closer look. western, neutral & eastern world, push barrier boundary and SAUDI ARABIA.

A closer look.
western, neutral & eastern world, push barrier boundary and SAUDI ARABIA.

This is where We Will Be, and quite possibly Where We Should Be opposing this.

This is where We Will Be, and quite possibly Where We Should Be opposing this.

HERE I SHALL DRAW THE PUSH BOUNDARY, TOMORROW.

Ukraine Update

Hi!

I’ll post up the older and written out posts concerning Russia and Ukraine (and predictions) when I have more time, I promise. For the mean time, however, there’s this:

Ukraine, in a recent (1 minute ago) news update, showed broken down buildings, a mysterious crater (evidence of a small-scale missile, perhaps?) and speculations on how long the brave, eccentric but competant army-people SEPARATISTS will be able to hold out against Russia. Speculations on how there seems to be ‘an air of resignation’ about the place, that they’ll fight til the end.

And mentioning of the Russian-elected (UNLAWFULLY) leader of the force to invade   sorry (except not really) ‘occupy’ Ukraine, resigning and being replaced by another. Perhaps due to his failure to Immediately Join Ukraine With Mother Russia? Eventhough, you know (or you  history-lovers will, anyway), Ukraine is kindof maybe importantly part of something called the ‘push barrier’ (I think; for some reason I forget this term from time to time. It accounts for all the neutral lands i.e. Poland, Ukraine in between Russia and the West- that no one takes over or breaches as it’s the protective layer that ensures no war or take overs. Hence, if anyone tries to breach it….the other non-trusting side will see, see?).

Hitler-walking-over-the-Spineless-Leaders-of-Democracy-by-British-cartoonist-David-Low Putin 0225toonwasserman.r

I just hope no policy of appeasement is followed for Putin  the leader of Russia. Because it worked so well for Hitler, right? Oh wait. It didn’t.

As my old History Teacher taught me (one of many viewpoints):

What was wrong with appeasement?

Put bluntly:

  • “It rewarded and encouraged bullying, aggressive behaviour.
  • Hitler was untrustworthy.
  • Germany & Hitler grew stronger.
  • USSR were alienated from western allies.”

Replace Germany and Hitler with….you know.

Putin-Stalin_2

[Not my image: DISCLAIMED. Google search this?]

Also, I can’t remember right now (it has been a long day today, alright?)- but Putin openly did something that, when I witnessed on the news, I was sure would be a declaration of war. All but. Scary moment, that. Also, I should probably mention the so-called punitive(right word here?) punishment on Russians all over thanks to…whomever was attempting to ‘punish’ or discourage Putin. Bad idea, all I’m going to say.

Also, maybe they should consider nipping this thing in the bud, whilst they can? It looks like it’ll be a fight either way, and this way, no real land and consequently forces have been gained (And people harmed/therefore lost).

DISCLAIMER: Not mine, found it on the internet. I'm sure if you drag this into google, you'll find who drew this epicness.

Just sayin’. Should’ve been done with Hitler; World War Two could’ve been, like, the battle of Germany-Rhineland and The Big Three. Or something similar.

For goodness sakes- put it down, and put it down hard.

Or darnwell get tacticle (like..ninjas…) and retrain troops better. and make the police have more pride and motivation on the home-front whilst you’re at it, World. Here in the UK they need some revving up. Not constant attacks, you know? Not good for anyone’s confidence or sense of camaraderie. Also, it’s bad that soldiers give…important parts of themselves -sometimes again and again- only to come home and be unsafe. So, yeah. Help the Police here in the UK too please.

(INSPIRE YOURSELF BY BLUE BLOODS. No, not the same- make it your own! But see how it’s worked elsewhere.)

Geez. If only.

Nami, OUT!
