A useful website- how stressed are you?
Just a quick post I thought would be helpful :).
If you’re feeling particularly anxious (could be the time of year, even), are stressed more at the moment, or if stress is part of your day-to-day life and you’d like to get to grips with it…or tackle it better, whatever the reason, this website does a good job outlining it! HelpGuide .
I already knew about The Stress Response in our bodies, and you might be interested in the beginning bit- but you don’t have to read the ‘What is stress?’ section (which discusses this).
If you would like to get a bit of information and an idea, I’d say read the intro paragraph, and have a look at the two sections:
‘How do you respond to stress?’ and ‘How Much Stress is Too Much?’ Which lists things that can help; I believe that learning about stress and what we can do to make it better will empower people so that it’s manageable! Stress can be a weapon/tool, if we know how to deal :D!
